Berta’s Potato Soup

This is great on a cold evening!

Ingredients:

  • 2 or 3 potatoes, peeled and cut into medium squares
  • I celery stalk, diced, with leaves
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 C. milk
  • 2 TBSP. butter

Put potatoes, onion, celery, and voter (just enough to cover) in pot. Cook until tender. Add milk and butter and season to taste with salt and pepper.

Optional: Top with grated cheese and or fried bacon bits, chives.
